Today we celebrate Labor Day, where we pay tribute
to the contributions and achievements of American workers. Did you know
that in the late 1800s, the average American worked 12 hours a day, 7
days a week, just to make a basic living? Children as young as 5 and 6
years old worked in mills, factories, and mines all across the country.
Let’s take this day to honor those who have added to the strength,
prosperity, and well-being of our country.
Remember, Don't wear white after Labor Day! (:
