Weekends are a bit like rainbows; they look good from a distance but disappear when you get up close to them.

I was hoping that my first weekend in December would be a nice one, at home, curled up with hubby on the couch, watching Christmas movies (or Harry Potter). But, that's not what I got. What I got was another cold, and an upper respiratory infection! I went to the Doc yesterday and got put on another antibiotic. I hope this one really helps me kick it. I'm miserable! I slept very little this weekend, and coughed my head off not to mention I was constantly blowing my nose! You'd think as much as I have had to do that over the past four months, that I wouldn't have any mucus left. Apparently, that's not the case!

The plus side, the nausea is mostly gone when it comes to the pregnancy, and I go back to the the OB's office next week to hear the heartbeat again! (:
